Margaret Lucille Harman
MARGARET LUCILLE HARMAN Margaret Lucille (Robbins) Harman, age 88, of Atlantic Iowa, passed away Wednesday morning, March 17, 2010 at the Allen House in Atlantic. Margaret was born the daughter of Frank Arthur Robbins and Clara Emily (Van Ausdale) Robbins on March 21, 1921, northwest of Hastings, Iowa. She attended Wearin country school and graduated from high school in Malvern, Iowa in 1938. She also attended Boyles Business College in Omaha, Nebraska. Margaret was united in marriage to Lloyd Woodrow Harman on February 11, 1939 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. They farmed in Mills County, Iowa until 1944 when they purchased their farm southwest of Lyman, Iowa. Lloyd passed away on March 19, 1995 and Margaret then moved to Atlantic. Margaret was a member of the First Church of Christ in Atlantic, Senior Bible Study, Tuesday Birthday Club, Cass County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Stroke Support Group and 60+ Club. Her survivors are a son, Gary Harman and wife Jane of Indianola, Iowa; a daughter Joan Cable and husband Steve of Waunakee, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Kimberly Mooney and husband Timothy of Eau Claire, WI, Todd Harman and wife Jennifer of Johnston, Iowa, Brett Cable and wife Julie of Waunakee, WI and Jason Cable of Waunakee, WI; great granddaughter Kaitlin Mooney of Eau Claire, WI and great grandson Tyler Austin Mooney of Eau Claire, WI; many nieces and nephews. Interment will be in the Atlantic Cemetery.
