Robert Gaines II

Robert "Rob&" Eugène Gaines II, 34, of Atlantic, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2002, as result of an automobile accident north of Atlantic.The son of Robert E. and Shirley (Rudolph) Gaines, Rob was born February 19, 1967 in Atlantic Iowa. He graduated from Atlantic High School and was married to Teri Rowe on September 11, 1999 in Atlantic. Rob was employed for McDonald's for 18 years.He is survived by his wife, Teri; three sons, Joey Rowe, Kalen Gaines and Kyle Gaines; Tito, their Chihuahua Dog; his grandmother, Oletta Rudolph; his mother, Sue Gaines; two brothers, Mike Gaines and his wife, Diana, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, John Gaines of Fort Madison, Iowa, and his wife, Jill, of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and three sisters, Darci Gaines of Atlantic, Daniell Gaines of Omaha, Nebraska and Kalie Gaines; five sisters in-law, Pat Goins and her husband, Mike, of Burkburnette, Texas, Deb Holtz and her husband, Dan, of Walnut, Iowa, JoLynn Nielsen of Walnut, Iowa, Barbara Wolff of Walnut, Iowa and Becky Parmley and her husband, Craig, of Brayton, Iowa; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Shirley Gaines; his grandfather Henry Rudolph; his grandmother Ethel (Wymore) Gaines; and grandfather James Garland Gaines.Funeral InformationServices for Rob will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2002, at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic with Pastor Allen D. Hellwege officiating. Interment will be in the Atlantic Cemetery.
