Dennis R. "Denny" Fowble February 09, 1953 - October 27, 2010 Dennis, 57, passed away Wednesday October, 27, 2010. Denny, the son of Junior Wesley and Ruth Arlene (Britt) Fowble, was born February 9, 1953, in Atlantic, Iowa. He graduated from Newton High School in 1971. He had built grain silos, was a carpenter in Texas, and had also worked for the Maytag Company. He enjoyed fishing and boating, and loved the blues. He was a member of the South Skunk Blues Society and had served as their President for 5 years. Survivors include his parents, Junior and Ruth Fowble of Newton; his sister, Connie (Ron) Partlow of Urbandale; brother, Roger (Marge) Griffith of Audubon; and his nieces and nephews. Memorials to the American Cancer Society may be left at Wallace Funeral Home in Newton, Iowa or, assisting with arrangements, the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa. Funeral Service: 2 p.m,. Monday, November 01, 2010 at the Wallace Funeral Home in Newton, Iowa. Grave-side Service with family and friends, will be 1:30 PM Thursday, November 4th in the Atlantic Cemetery in Atlantic, Iowa with Roland Funeral Home of Atlantic assisting. There will be Open Visitation at Roland Funeral Home from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday-Wednesday, November 1-3 and 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Thursday, November 4 for those who would like to pay their respects in Atlantic.
