Wayne Lee Farley was born October 2, 1942 in Hutchinson, Kansas and died on April 23, 2020 in Anita, IA at the age of 77.
Wayne was one of 16 children born to Waldron and Sybil (Converse) Farley and grew up working on the farm in Kansas. He graduated from high school in Kincaid, Kansas, in the Class of 1961. He loved his horses, watching western movies, and all things John Wayne. He also was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed nothing more than cheering on the Cardinals to multiple World-Series Championships.
Wayne is survived by his children, Joe Farley (Jennifer), Sarah Paulsen (Brandon) and Sam Farley, and his grandchildren, Grace, Logan, Adaline, Gus, and Griffin. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Jim Farley (Marty), Raymond Farley (Oleta), Stephen Farley (Patty), Roger Farley, Toni Plowman (Jerry), Barb Winter (Tom), Elaine Hardman, Jacquie Sheeder (Darrel), and Laura Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Foster), parents, and siblings, Virginia Farley, Beverly Head, Beth Atkinson, Lyle Farley, and two brothers in infancy.
