Pernes Eram

Pernes Eram, 29, of Atlantic, passed away Saturday November 28 at his home in Atlantic. Pernes was born the son of Karnes Narios and Pansy (Ruben) Eram on August 14, 1980, in Losap Chuuk State in Micronesia. He attended high school there and lived his entire life there until coming to the United States four years ago. Pernes enjoyed playing basketball and enjoyed getting together with family and friends His survivors include his parents Karnes and Pansy Eram; brothers, Karneison. Parnes, Narson and Nario; his sisters, Terensy, Kansita, Karsy, Karlin and Krystal; his fiancé Tionisia and daughter Nesann Mis; his uncle Pastor Brimer Kovac and wife Betenine; and a number of cousins and nieces and nephews. Pernes was preceded in death by his brother Tenesy Eram. Funeral Information Services for Pernes will include open visitation from 8:00 to 5:00 daily at Roland Funeral Home (beginning on Tuesday); a funeral mass at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Father Dan Seipker will officiate: the following day, the family will meet with and friends for a visitation on Saturday, from 12:00 to 2:00 on the afternoon of December 5, at Roland Funeral Home. Pastor Brimer Kovac will officiate. There will be a committal service in Losap in Chuuk Island, Micronesia. Roland Funeral Service of Atlantic, Iowa is caring for Pernes' family and the arrangements.
