Bruce Ehrman

Bruce Alan Ehrman, 45, of rural Atlantic, Iowa, passed away at his home Sunday morning, July 28, 2002.The son of Fred W. and Dolores Maxine (Dorsey) Ehrman, Bruce was born August 4, 1956 in Atlantic, grew up in the rural Wiota and Anita areas, and graduated from Anita High School in 1974. He was united in marriage to Terri Lynn Steffens on June 28, 1975 in Atlantic. Most of his married life he lived southeast of Atlantic. Bruce had various jobs in construction and as a mechanic before becoming an owner/operator of Ehrman Trucking. Bruce was a member of Iowa Trapping Association and the National Rifle Association. He was an avid hunter and trapper.Bruce is survived by his wife, Terri Ehrman of rural Atlantic; one daughter, Melissa Ehrman and friend, Luke Brockob, of Des Moines; one son, James Ehrman and friend, Lan Wilcox, of Omaha; one granddaughter, Alyssa Brockob; his parents, Fred and Dolores Ehrman of Anita; two brothers, Robert Ehrman and wife, Kathy, of Anita And Bill Ehrman of Waukee; two sisters, Kathy Husted and husband, Doug, of Arlington, Texas and Kay Stork and husband, Chris, of Wiota; his mother-in-law and stepfather in law, Shirley and Kendal Warne of Atlantic; his father-in-law and stepmother in-law, Marvin and Gloria Steffens of Kingman, Arizona; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frederick and Theresa Ehrman; and his maternal grandparents, Leslie and Mary Dorsey.Funeral InformationServices for Bruce will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at the First Assembly of God Church in Atlantic, IA, at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Guy Fisher officiating.Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita, Iowa.
