Margaret Elnora (Been) Dutton left us to be with the Lord on December 1, 2004 at the age of 88 while living at Heritage House in Atlantic, Iowa. Margaret was born on October 2, 1916 in Ringgold County, Iowa to Harley and Leona Been. She graduated from Tingley High School in 1934. While living and working in Des Moines as a nanny and housekeeper, she met Charles Dutton and later married him on September 22, 1938 in Grant City, Missouri. Margaret and Chuck lived in Tingley for several years operating a garage. They had three children, Patricia, Garry and Charles and lived in several communities during their marriage including Boone, Tingley, Des Moines and Atlantic. While living in Atlantic, Charles became a Baptist minister and they served the following communities: Lamoni, Climbing Hill, Missouri Valley and Eagle Grove which were all located in Iowa. After retiring in 1984, they traveled with their Holiday camper living in Branson and Pittsburg, Missouri. In 1985, they moved to Valley, Nebraska to manage C & K Mobile Home Park. In 1996, Margaret made her home at Heritage House where she resided until her passing. While there, Margaret touched many lives.
