Marvin Conrad

Marvin Conrad, 72, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born in rural Adair, Iowa on March 19, 1932, the son of Waldo and Laura Conrad. He was raised there, attending Adair schools and graduated from Adair High School in 1950. Marvin married Lucille Francis Woods in 1953 in Atlantic, Iowa. Marvin was a farmer and worked as a maintenance man. Surviving Marvin are his son, Paul Conrad of Las Vegas, Nevada, a daughter, April of Seattle, Washington and a daughter, Brenda Roberts; grandchildren, Cody, Cassie, Christina, Tommy and Savana; special friend, Karen Hering; brother-in-law, Ernest Jipp of Adair; nephews, Stephen Jipp and family of Fairfield, Iowa and Robert Conrad and family of Waterloo, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucille; brother, Merle Conrad; sisters-in-law, Lois Conrad and Bernette Jipp.Funeral Information
