Delpha Beatrice Carlson
Delpha Beatrice Carlson, 81, of rural Atlantic passed away Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2001, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital.The daughter of Hans and Beatrice Christine (Jensen) Fredrickson, Delpha was born March 27, 1920 north of Walnut. She attended schools in Walnut and Lewis. Her marriage to Ralph Kenneth Carlson took place June 8, 1941 at her parent's home south of Atlantic. Following marriage they farmed east of Atlantic. Delpha was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Atlantic. Surviving are her husband, Ralph Carlson of Atlantic; three children, John Carlson and his wife, Linda of Griswold, Judith McGee and her husband, Orval, of Council Bluffs, and James Carlson and his wife, Barbara, of Atlantic; four grandchildren, Mike Carlson and his wife, Patricia, of Atlantic, Alan Carlson and his wife, Jami, of Farmington, New Mexico, Shelly Hagan and her husband, Ronald, of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Thomas Carlson of Griswold; six great-grandchildren, Garrett and Haley Carlson of Atlantic, Tamara and Timothy Carlson of New Mexico, and Cody and Aubrey Hagan of Lincoln, Nebraska; and one niece, Mary, of Alabama.She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sons, Larry Dean and Kenneth Frederick; one great-granddaughter, Paige Ann Carlson; and one brother, Ivan Fredrickson.Funeral InformationServices for Delpha were held Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at 1:30PM at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa with Reverend Craig Palmer of the First United Presbyterian Church officiating.
