Barry Alden Camp
Barry Alden Camp, 43, of Lewis, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs.The son of Frank Lewis and Irene Alice (Schickner) Camp, Barry was born August 26, 1959 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He grew up in McClelland, Iowa and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs in 1977. Following graduation, he attended two years of college in northern Montana. He worked at various jobs and had been a semitrailer driver since 1988. He drove for Sub Zero Transportation of Omaha for 15 years and then for Family Transport of Griswold the last five months. Barry's hobby was restoring older cars.Barry is survived by four brothers, Allen Camp of Omaha, Gary Camp and his wife, Becky, of Portland, Oregon, Ernest Camp of Lewis, and Michael Camp of Lewis; one sister, Pamela Martin and her husband, David, of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister-in-law, Connie Marshall.Funeral InformationFuneral services for Barry will be held on Friday, September 6, 2002, at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Allen D. Hellwege of the Zion Lutheran Church in Atlantic officiating. Interment will be in the Hardin Township Cemetery at McClelland, Iowa.
