On Friday October 7, 2022 at 12:56pm, Heaven welcomed a hero. No, Bruce Wayne Stueve wasn’t Batman. But he was pretty damn close. Strong, wise, and kind, his smile and laugh were infectious. Hummingbirds amused him. He enjoyed watching football, especially his beloved Huskers (even when they weren’t winning). He also had a love for building and fixing, playing with his dogs, and—although he wouldn’t admit it—napping with his cat. Most of all, he loved the family he left behind: his wife, Tammy, his three children, Aaron, Angela, and Andrea, and their spouses, his ten grandchildren, his four great-grandchildren, his four siblings, and his mother.
Bruce will be sorely missed by them… and anyone else whose path he crossed. On Friday October 7, 2022, at 12:56pm, Heaven may have welcomed a hero, but we all lost a light.
As per his wishes, Bruce was cremated and there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers and cards, the family requests donations to the Nebraska Medicine Cancer-University of Nebraska Foundation - https://nufoundation.org/give/nebraska-medicine/cancer/
Roland Funeral Service is caring for Bruce’s family and his arrangements. Condolences may be left at www.rolandfuneralservice.com.
