Brian Rasmussen

Brian Rasmussen, 59, of Atlantic, Iowa and formerly of California, died Friday, September 15, 2023, at home.

Brian Lee Rasmussen was born on October 29, 1963, in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Russell Kenneth and Benita Irene (Reed) Rasmussen.  He graduated from Atlantic High School in 1982, and later received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University. 

Brian is survived by his sister, Sharon K. Rasmussen and brothers, Rodney S. Rasmussen and Craig E. Rasmussen.

He is preceded in death by his father, Russell K. Rasmussen and mother, Benita Rasmussen.

Open visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20th at Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic.  Graveside services will begin at 3:15 p.m. at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Atlantic.  If you would like to process to the cemetery with the family please be at the funeral home by 2:45 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
