Lucas "Luke&" Eugène Edwin Bomer, 20, of Atlantic, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital.The son of Dennis Eugène Bomer and Jodi Marie (Lillard) Feltner, Lucas was born August 26, 1981, in Atlantic. He grew up in attended school in the Griswold and Atlantic areas and later received his GED.Surviving are his mother, Jodi Feltner of Atlantic and her friend, Robert Williams, of Omaha, NE; his father, Dennis Bomer and his wife, Kayleen, of Harlan, IA; four brothers, Christopher Leon Bomer and Logan Dean Bomer, both of Wiota, Josh Carrier and friend, Tanya, of Atlantic and Dennis Bomer, Jr. and his wife, Lindsey, of Norfolk, Virginia; three sisters, Derri Carrier of Harlan, Crystal Fritz of Omaha and Gloria Jean Waller of Silver City; maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Lillard of Wiota; paternal grandmother, Helen Bomer of Glenwood; his fiancée, Jessica Rose Roberts, of Lewis; uncles and aunts, Rick and Deb Lillard of Council Bluffs, Mike Lillard and friend, Dottie, of Council Bluffs, Monica Lillard of Atlantic, Jeff and Barb Lillard of Wiota, Evonne and Jeff Kates of Pacific Junction, Iowa and Stephen and Diane Bomer of Glenwood; and a number of cousins.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernie Lillard; paternal grandfather, Evon Bomer; his aunt, Lori Lillard; and two cousins, Shawna Lillard and Carly Jo Lillard.Roland Funeral Service - Atlantic, IowaFuneral InformationFuneral services for Lucas will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic at 2:30 P.M. with Pastor Jerry Bishop of the Massena Baptist Church officiating.
