DeEtte Jan Black-McCaw, 46, of Exira, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

After school, she returned to Exira where she was employed as the Activity Director at the Exira Care Center for many years until she made her home in Missouri where she continued her career as an Activity Director. DeEtte returned to Iowa where she made her home in North Liberty and was employed at Lantern Park Nursing and Rehab Center until she returned to Exira in 2015.

DeEtte was a devoted Denver Bronco fan and traveled to many games to watch the Broncos play. She loved collecting antiques, candles, and enjoyed cooking. In her younger years, she loved to play sand volleyball and fast pitch softball where her team traveled all over the State of Iowa to play in tournaments. But most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends.
