Katherine Bishop

Katherine Bishop, 93, resident of Atlantic, passed away at the Exira Care Center in Exira, Iowa on March 3, 2011.Katherine Marie Matthews was born the daughter of James and Anna (Christensen) Matthews on December 21, 1917. She attended school in Atlantic and graduated with the Atlantic High School Class of 1936. She was married to Arthur Bishop and was blessed with three children. Katherine is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Redler of Atlantic and Michelle France and husband Glen of California; son, William Bishop of Atlantic; grandchildren, Maria Agboglo of Atlantic, Quinn Esbeck and husband Brian of Anita and Anthony Ramirez of Omaha, NE; great grandchildren, Christina France and April and Zaria Agboglo; and her sister-in-law, Berniece Matthews of Atlantic.Funeral InformationNo services are planned.
