Ruby Beech

Ruby Christina Beech, 94, of Atlantic, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at the Heritage House.The daughter of Charlie E. and Amanda J. (Anderson) Erickson, Ruby was born January 6, 1908 in Audubon County and lived most of her life in Cass County. She was married to Harold (Chick) Beech on December 14, 1930 at the Methodist parsonage in Atlantic, Iowa. She helped her husband in the Hallmark Card Shoppe which they operated until he retired in July of 1976.Surviving are a number of nieces, nephews and a cousin.She was preceded in death by her parents, Amanda and Charlie Erickson; her husband, Harold Beech; four brothers, Elmer, Charles (Sodi), Arthur and Faye (Fantastic) Erickson; and one sister, Opal Wright.Funeral InformationServices for Ruby will be held on Friday, May 31, 2002 at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic, Iowa at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Rodger McKinney of Wiota, Iowa officiating. Interment will be in the Atlantic Cemetery.
