Lisa Kathleen Bane Lisa Kathleen Bane, age 31, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away at her residence located on south Olive Street on Thursday evening, June 2, 2011. Lisa was born on June 24, 1979 in Atlantic, Iowa to Joel and Pamela (Williams) Bane and grew up on a farm northwest of Oakland.Lisa attended school in Oakland and graduated from Riverside High School in 1998. She has been employed at Cass Incorporated Services in Atlantic.Her family and friends will remember Lisa as being a kind and loving "people person."She was a people person who cared about many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her parents, Joel and Pamela Bane of Oakland, IA; two sisters, Betsy Bane of Colorado Springs, CO and Janet Bane Schafer and husband Brett of Elkhart, IA; grandmothers, Eileen Williams of Honey Creek, IA and Dorothy Bane of Oakland, IA; one niece, Peyton Schafer of Elkhart, IA.; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jack Williams and paternal grandfather, Kenneth Bane and one uncle Mac Bane. There will be an open visitation for Lisa at the Roland Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4, from 8:00 - 12:00 and on Sunday, June 5, from 1:00 - 4:00.On Monday, the open visitation will be from 8:00 - 5:00 with the family meeting with friends Monday evening, June 6, from 5:00 - 7:00.A joint service for Lisa with a memorial service for her grandfather, Kenneth Bane, will be held at the Roland Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 7, at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Mike Harvey from the Oakland Sharon Presbyterian Church officiating.
