Rose Anderson

Rose O. Anderson, born October 23, 1931, daughter of Max and Ethel Anderson of Brayton, IA, died May 9, 2004 at the Exira Care Center in Exira, IA, at the age of 72. She had been a resident for 16 years and 7 months. Rose attended rural school south of Oakfield and 8th grade in Exira. She loved music and always sang one song, "Marzee Doats and Doezee Doats&", with the Country Players when they entertained at the care center. She was a lovable and kind person and will be missed by many friends. Rose belonged to the Brayton Legion Auxiliary. Frances Hansen was a friend and took her to the meetings. Her mother, Ethel Anderson, was a nurse in the Army in WWI. Surviving Rose are Ruby Anderson of New York; nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Ethel Anderson; her brother Max and Stanley Anderson.Funeral Information
