Donald Alexander

Donald Alexander, age 94, a longtime resident of Atlantic, Iowa, died on Saturday morning, January 15, 2005, at the Heritage House.Don was born the son of Earl and Leah Vern (Johnson) Alexander on September 12, 1910. He attended school in Atlantic and then San Bernardino High School. He married Zeta Iola Neal on July 15, 1943 in Tyler, Texas. The couple lived in Pasadena, Whittier, La Habra, California and in Atlantic, Iowa.Don worked for Warner Brothers in Hollywood and as a clerk in the booking section of the Jail Division of Los Angeles County in California for 22 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in WW II in England and France. Don retired in 1974.
